HUGO TILLMAN: MAPLAB
The Maplab is a space that challenges the way in which we show and view artwork today. It houses a large selection of photographs of constructed realities and corresponding audio tracks that reference seminal experiences of significant contemporary Chinese artists in Beijing, Hangzhou, Shanghai and Guangzhou.
This work is the result of a three-year project completed in China from 2005-2008 by Hugo Tillman. Launch
